The old Hotel Duluth, now known as the Greysolon Plaza, hosts a peregrine nest box (3 of the four downy chicks visible) on its west tower. Although the box has been there for many years, peregrines first started nesting in it only four years ago. In 2005, they fledged (raised to flight stage) four offspring. This year -- 2006 -- they again had four chicks in the nest.
